Why We Built This Reference
Although printed Kennesaw directories became uncommon, the records behind them remain available through separate custodians. Ownership evidence belongs to the Cobb Tax Assessor and Superior Court Clerk. Voter information is governed by Georgia law, while historical volumes are held in Switzer Library's Georgia Room and at Georgia Archives. Finding a present record or tracing an older household can require several websites and office procedures. We bring Kennesaw search links, office roles, coverage details, and access limits into one private reference.
What the Directory Includes
- Distinct search routes: the directory by street, historical city directories, and one-person resident lookup
- Offices and collections: Cobb assessor, recorder, elections and court offices, vital-record custodians, and the Georgia Room
- Practical methods: tracing an address, interpreting an old directory entry, and following a household through dated sources
- Georgia access rules: which material is open, which is restricted, and when to file an agency records request
Limits of Our Role
This is a privately operated reference, unaffiliated with Kennesaw, Cobb County, Georgia, any court, or any library. These limits apply:
- We cannot confirm whether a particular person currently lives in Kennesaw
- We cannot pull, certify, or change any record on your behalf
- We cannot add anyone to, or remove anyone from, any roll or database
- We cannot give legal advice about a record or a dispute
- We cannot promise that every coverage year, link, or office detail here is current at this moment
The official custodian alone can confirm, certify, or correct its record. Site material cannot be used for credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions.
